A little bit bigger than a standard 7/8 model, this could be considered a 'ladies' size and is great for those players who are a bit smaller or have smaller hands due to the shorter string length.
Clear upper register, plays like a much more expensive instrument. Not for beginners; requires a good bow technique to get the most out of it. Great backup cello for pros, or a nice upgrade for a fine student on a budget.
Unlabeled german cello, made probably around 1990. Comes with a used case and a basic brazilwood bow.
Powerful, projects well. Excellent response, speaks easily with a light bow.
Easy to play, it has a full, noble tone and sings richly across all registers. It has a chocolatey, luscious C string, and great volume with the ability to be loud when needed. A great option for serious students (or even pros) on a tight budget.
Very resonant with great projection. Sweet upper register, it is well-balanced and open. Strong lower register, forward sound.
Both full of soloist potential as well as forgiving to less than perfect technique, this cello will make an exceptional companion for anyone; from the student cellist wanting a cello that won't stifle musical growth to the young, advanced cellist who needs a showy cello for recitals and concerto competitions.
Rich & dark with great projection and volume. Great option for a serious music major or aspiring soloist.
Slightly smaller than a full size for a more comfortable fit for smaller players.
This Master-built Limited Edition is resonant and clear, with a very nice dynamic range. It responds beautifully to vibrato. It has a focused tone, and well-balanced across the register.
This colorful and unique cello has great projection and resonates beautifully, with a singing upper register and an expansive sound.
