Exceptional tuning stability and immediate playability. Suitable also for electric or electrically-amplified cellos. These strings offer excellent responsiveness and control ability across the whole dynamic range, from pianissimo to fortissimo.These strings also work great on 7/8 size cellos and old cellos with a shorter string length.

Different design of the two gauges results in distinctive sound differences:

• Medium: Brilliant sound based on a warm core sound
• Forte/Strong: Considerable volume and brighter sound than medium gauge

*Core made from a single filament of high-tensile steel, and wound with chrome steel.
*Offers great brilliance combined with a warm core sound.
