Select 'plastic' for inexpensive student bows
Replace Ivory tip plate with either Artificial Ivory or Mammoth bone or ivory.
Silver or Gold Tip plates will make your bow more tip-heavy.
If you are really hard on your bow, or drop it frequently, we recommend 'Tip Armor', which is a new material made of AMW-814 polymer composite. Super strong and tough.
