This bow lives up to the name given to it as it performs at a very high level. It provides smooth and even contact on all four strings, allowing the player to trust it in both demanding and delicate passages. In higher registers, this bow produces a sweet tone drawing in the listener. the low register becomes very warm with this bow, When pushed, this bow projects easily and is punchy, allow it to cut through when needed. This bow also has an even and crisp bounce, making spiccato light work at various tempos.

Vanderson Schaeffer, son of Floriano Schaeffer decided to enter the family business of bow making, following in his father's footsteps. Schaeffer learned bow making techniques from his father and continued on to study briefly with Pierre Guillaume of Brussels. He currently works for the Brazilian firm Arcos Brasil as one of their top bow makers and is responsible for making many of their special edition bows and master copies.
