Eastman K3 Carbon Fiber cello case is newest addition to their line of hard cases.
The K-3 is carbon fiber not a Hybrid. It weighs in at around 7.5 to 8.5 lbs depending on if you get wheels or not. Comes with or without wheels. A full Carbon fiber cello case with more room inside for larger cellos and tight waterproof seal.

K-1 Cello case
The K-1 weighs in at around 10 lbs with wheels and 9lbs without wheels, some online shops advertise it as 7.5 lbs, it's light, but it isn't that light. The new K-3 is the one that is 7.3 lbs
This case is a Carbon fiber/fiberglass hybrid cello case with wheels. An economical Carbon fiber cello case. Has the strength of fiberglass with the lightweight qualities of Carbon fiber. Comes in five metallic colors.
