7/8 Samuel Eastman 100 cello,
2005 This is a fully solid carved cello. It just came back as a trade in. It has been well cared for and played regularly. Eastman cellos are well made from air dried, high quality tone woods.
This particular 100 cello looks plain (no fancy flaming) and it is in perfect like new condition.
The plain maple woods actually tend to have a round, warm timber to their tone.
I have discounted this cello so if you want quality and tone to wet your cello appetite and have limited funds this is a great opportunity to get a great sounding cello to start on. You can trade up later once you're ready to advance to the next level.
It's tone is warm, open and even. It is a very easy cello to play and it comes with a Gig bag and a K. Holtz fiberglass bow. Bow or case upgrades are an option.
It has been played for 3 years so its tone has had a chance to really open up.
This is a great choice for a beginning to intermediate student who wants a cello that will provide good tonal quality, response and volume through out it's range.
This is also a great deal for the parent who wants a quality cello for their young talented cellist, but is on a budget, as this is far below the new retail price.
