Andreas Eastman 415 1/2 Cello

This 1/2 cello possesses a dark, well balanced voice that has loads of potential. This cello will open up and get better with play time but already it has a nice resonant voice. This is a good choice for your serious young cellist who requires a better than a beginning level cello.

Varnished with a beautiful antique distressed look. Layers of warm sienna brown over amber under coat with the grain figuring stained a dark brown. Visually striking cello. Made from select tonewoods. The top plate is solid carved spruce with a grain count of 9 gpi towards the outer flank and tightens towards the center to about 16 GPI. The solid carved ribs and back are made from maple that is highly flamed with tight straight figuring.
