Description Measurements   Just In! 4/4 Handmade Cello by Master Luthier Maciej Lacek Gofriller model, Nowy Targ Poland 2009 Professional level Instrument. Lacek is a maker in the same region as Jan Szlachtowski. His father teaches violin making at the nearby Luthier school and Maciej has grow up in this surrounding and working with his father. His cellos tend to be warmer sounding and quite a bit easier to play than Szlachtowski cellos so it is high caliber cello like the Szlachtowski, but with a different voice for those who lean towards a warmer tone and a more forgiving spirit. The bottom register is meaty and rich and the upper is delicate and sweet.  This Gofriller model is a very responsive cello and provides the player easy access to a full dynamic range. This cello has incredible range and available power to offer the serious student or young professional the response and power required for intense, expressive playing. This is built by one master Luthier, not a workshop.
