4/4 Heindrich Gill Cello, model 304

Dark and well balanced. this cello has a mellow, buttery voice. It is not edgy or bright. It would be perfect for playing chamber music or in orchestra. It has good resonance and balance, it just doesn't have an in-your-face voice that cuts through to the back of a hall.

It does have a pleasing tone including the upper register on the A string. No fighting a wolf note. This is a very consistent forgiving cello.
