7/8 size Calin Wultur Guarneri model #6 cello

7/8 Cello from the workshop of Calin Wultur in Reghin, Romania.

This model is made from aged Carpathian maple and spruce. Each model Calin Wultur cello is carefully graduated for tone. The workshop's new addition of Polish master Luthier B. Koscielny has added further expertise to the Wultur shop and is bringing the quality of Calin Wultur instruments to new heights. Looks and plays like a much more expensive cello.

Professional tone at an affordable price.

This 7/8 cello is a very powerful and even instrument with a rich, warm tone. Fully adjusted for tone and playability. This Guarneri model cello has a good complex core sound, nicely balanced. Its tone is very rich and robust with good sustain, no dead notes anywhere.
The woods are of fine, highly flamed Maple and Carpathian Spruce. The soundboard has nice grain count that is tighter towards the center widening as it progresses to the edges.

This is a very rare find in a 7/8 size. This 7/8 has a huge sound and is easy to play! set-up:

Belgium style bridge (stock, good quality so I left it)
Ebony Heart style pegs w/ebony collars and ball ornaments
Wittner tailpiece
