Description Measurements   Just arrived! 7/8 Handmade Cello by Master Luthier Jan Szlachtowski Nowy Targ Poland 2009 Professional level Instrument. Jan's Cellos are in high demand as people are more and more discovering the power, range and solo performance sound these instruments possess. This is the second 7/8 from his shop and it packs the same power and depth as their 4/4 cellos. OMG! I just did a preliminary set-up with basic parts to hear how it sounds.  WOW! It is such an amazing sounding cello I got goosebumps. It is as sweet as the first. Incredible depth, range and available power. It is not a compromise to play this 7/8, I could easily switch from my 4/4 Szlachtowski to this 7/8 one with absolutely no regrets and be very, very happy. Once the parts arrive that I have ordered special for this cello I will re-photograph it. This cello will give you the response, volume and tonal depth you will require while studying as a music performance major and you won't have to take out a second on your home to afford it. I have waited for this specially ordered 7/8 size cello for several years. It took awhile to finally get a professional level 7/8 but the wait was worth it! The first one sold within a week as these are amazing sounding 7/8 cellos! The varnish has nice depth and glows due to the layers of rich caramel browns over honey yellow.
