Description Measurements My Address   ON TRIAL! Hand Selected! 4/4 Jean-Pierre Lupot,  Stradivari pattern, 2009 Model 501 Another personally handpicked cello. This is an outstanding Pierre Lupot. The best I've played yet. This cello's projection is excellent and the tonal color is very warm and round . It is already open sounding, very balanced across the strings and has super resonance. The tone performs well passed its price point. The varnish is deep, dark and rich with a well done distressed look, as if it is an old French or Italian cello. I'm really blown away by its voice, as I find myself playing this cello longer than normal when I'm working on it. It truly is a real pleasure to play! Cello is set up as follows: New Harmony 8 mm carbon fiber endpin Wittner tailpiece French style Despiau bridge Passione A and D Flexocor G and C The finish is the old style antique finish with a dark red/brown color layered over an Amber honey ground. I'm amazed at the look and tone this cello has at such an affordable price.
